Robert's Story
Life
I married Mandy Adkins in on April 22,1989, in Macon, Ga., at the Hay House, we lived in Atlanta, Ga., until we moved to San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1990. We lived there 4 years, having a son in May of 1992, Robert Jr., we loved living in the tropics, I managed the womens division for Puerto Rico, and finally managed the JCPenney Store in Plaza Las Americus, the largest JCPenney in the world for about 2 years, we moved back to the stat...Expand for more
es in January of 1994 when I found out my mother had cancer with only about 2 months to live.
We love living in Kentucky and have lived here since 1994. We had three miscarriages, but finally had another boy in March of 2002, William we call him Will.
Mandy discovered she had cancer in November of that same year, and fought it for almost three years, finally losing on Labor Day weekend of 2005, on September 4, 2005.
Miss her greatly.
